Access

Intersections in History will be held at:

The venue is located in the CBD. We recommend attendees from out of town stay in the CBD or in Carlton, either of which will provide easy access to the conference venue.


Disability access

Access is via Lonsdale Street.

A ramp to the rear entrance of the building runs along the Western (left hand) side.

By Car

Visitors can find metered parking on Lonsdale and Russell Street.

Alternatively, the QV shopping precinct offers 1500 parking spaces in their large car park situated underneath the city block. Parking costs a maximum of $25 per day during the week or $17 per day if you spend $1 at any QV retailer and have them validate your parking ticket. Entry after 5pm and or weekends is capped at $10. By Train

We are conveniently located close to Melbourne Central train station, which services all train lines.

By Tram

We are accessible via tram routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 22, 64, 67 and 72, which stops at the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale Streets. For more information about tram services visit the Metlink website.

By Bus

We are serviced by bus routes 201, 202, 203, 302, 305, 318, 605, 906, 907 and 908 which stop on Lonsdale St, near Swanston St.

Airport Connections

The SkyBus service connects Melbourne airport with Southern Cross Station in the CBD. From Southern Cross Station access to the QVWC is via train or tram. Please see the Public Transport Victoria Journey Planner to plan your route.
